 Sculpture

-Can students paint found objects used for the mosaic?

--Paint is not part of the materials list. The object needs to stay the color they are.

-Can objects be mixed and matched such as glass for some and gears/found objects for another section?

--Any combination of mosaic materials can be used together as desired. 

-My student wants to cut a circle out of a 20"x20" board because the designs in Art Nouveau have alot of circles.  Is that ok that the final design is a cut out circle and not a square?  As long as it is no bigger then 20" in Diameter?

--As long as the circle is in the Max Size, the shape can  vary.

Personal Adornment

-I have a student who is interested in creating gloves for the personal adornment prompt, but I’m not sure if that counts as “clothing”.  I am assuming not, (I think of them as an accessory) unless they are part of a larger costume, but I thought I’d get clarification.  Also, should students be making an entire outfit, or a single clothing piece?

--The prompt goal is meant to be an outfit vs an accessory.

Photography:

-Just clarifying that it is a single photo with texture, not pieces of photos put together?

--This is a single photography, but the photo can be manipulated on a computer or in the darkroom.
